on: Is it permissible for the safardic people to eat in restaurants and halls and yeshivas that use the law of gentiles cooking as the Ashkenazi opinion, that the mashgiach only lights the fire, and the gentile places the food on the fire?

:  The elder Maran rabbi Ovadia Yosef z”l has already ordered, the a sfardi can eat the food, on behalf of Sfak Sifka as we will expand on in the sources below, but if a person can avoid eating in those places, surely this is the right thing to do, as Maran wrote himself. However, as stated here (and in the sources below), it is when the mashgiach lights the fire and then the Gentile lays the food, but if first the Gentile lays the food and then the Mashgiach lights the fire, this is much better and can eat without a problem, as we wrote at length in the Book lilkot shoshanim 5 Shoresh 2. Question:

Is it permissible for the safardic people to eat in restaurants and halls and yeshivas that use the law of gentiles cooking as the Ashkenazi opinion, that the mashgiach only lights the fire, and the gentile places the food on the fire?

Answer:

The elder Maran rabbi Ovadia Yosef z”l has already ordered, the a sfardi can eat the food, on behalf of Sfak Sifka as we will expand on in the sources below, but if a person can avoid eating in those places, surely this is the right thing to do, as Maran wrote himself.

And see this also in the answer of the Rabbi Ohayon Shlita on these matters.

PLEASE NOTE*

Attention: You should not learn from one case to another, each case must be analyzed individually. Generally speaking, it's always best to have contact with a Rabbi in person, not just virtual contact. Note that where there is a local Rabbi("Mara Deatra"), one should ask him. The answers are under the responsibility of the rabbi who responded, and not under the responsibility of the website and/or the Head of the Institution.
