Although within halachah there is little chance of finding permission (as explained in detail by a former student of our institute, Gaon Rabbi Chanan Aflalo Shelita in his book Shut Asher Chanan Vol. 6 Y.D. siman 32), in practice the opinion of Maran Rabbeinu Ovadiá Yossef ZTL is that this should not be done, as Shut Mayan Omer Vol. 5 brings in his name in the laws of Avodat Guilulim siman 5.
