I have three questions regarding eating bread:
We are commanded to eat bread on Passover. Are we also required to eat bread on Shabbat and other holidays? What is the minimum number of times we are required to eat bread each year?
Is it better to try to maximize? Perhaps simply eat bread at every meal in order to recite the Birkat Hamazon after eating?
What is the normal amount?
On all holidays and festive occasions, we are required to eat bread as part of the meal, which is a full obligation. However, during the year, we are not commanded to eat bread, and there is no obligation.
The measure of piety is to obligate oneself in order to recite the Birkat Hamazon.
It is recommended to eat bread once a day in the morning, called “pat shacharit,” which protects from many illnesses and strengthens the body.
PLEASE NOTE*
Attention: You should not learn from one case to another, each case must be analyzed individually. Generally speaking, it's always best to have contact with a Rabbi in person, not just virtual contact. Note that where there is a local Rabbi("Mara Deatra"), one should ask him. The answers are under the responsibility of the rabbi who responded, and not under the responsibility of the website and/or the Head of the Institution.
