Can a Jew commit suicide

It is absolutely forbidden for a Jew to lose himself, and one that loses himself has no part in the world to come! And he has no share and inheritance in the part of Israel and in a jewish burial. And no one is mourning on him, and his iniquity is unbearable. since a man does not own his body to do with it as he sees.

Moreover, it will not help that person at all, because he will come again to this world [after passing through ‘kaf hakeka’ for many years] in a reincarnation of many sufferings and severe and painful pains from what he now has. And this is not the solution to resign from the suffering and afflictions that come upon the human soul.

And we must believe that hashem does not put a man through a trial that he cannot withstand.
