Question:
I am from the Lewis family, who are from the tribe of Levi and are Jewish in Passion. Will I get a grave
In a Jewish cemetery without being separated in a special plot.
Answer:
You didn’t tell me why there was a reason not to be buried in a Jewish cemetery.
Nevertheless, I will write to you in general who has the right according to Halacha to be buried in a Jewish cemetery without a partition or fence that will distinguish it from the rest of the graves.
According to Jewish law, it is forbidden to bury evil alongside a righteous person, and it is also forbidden to bury those who are not Jewish alongside Jews.
Therefore, a converted Jew (who left Judaism) or a Jew that does not keep Sabbath, or a Jew married to a Gentile, is not buried together with all the Jews in the cemetery. Rather, they are given a special place that is not alongside the kosher Jews who keep the Torah and the commandments.
It is important to know that even a Jew who behaved wickedly for most of his life, but finally repented wholeheartedly, is buried together with the complete righteous in the cemetery.
Best regards for health and longevity
