Question

: If you are not married but the person you are having conjugal relations with is, are you committing adultery

Answer

Hello & Greetings

It is forbidden for a man and woman to have conjugal relations without marriage, because this is considered through prostitution and adultery forbidden by the Torah.

It is also forbidden to have conjugal relations with a woman who has not been baptized in order to be purified after seeing menstruation, and since there is no way for unmarried women to immerse in order to be purified of their impurity, therefore according to the Torah it is forbidden to have conjugal relations between an unmarried man and woman.

Therefore, if you think you have found your spouse, hurry up and get married and establish a home among the people of Israel, and the sooner you do so, the more joyful and loving blessing you will instill in it, and G-d will rejoice in it.

Wishing you to save yourself from sinning

And you will be privileged to establish a loyal home in Israel soon
