: Donors living in the u.s. should also prefer holding Avrachim in Eretz Yisrael over holding Avrachim in the u.s. As described below in the sources. But of course you should try not to neglect the Avrachim in the u.s. as well. Accordingly, it is certainly not to avoid contributing to the Avrachim of Eretz yisrael by claiming that “your city’s poor are first”, which is a mistake for the reasons that will be explained in the sources below.
