Question:
Shalom Rabbi.
I wanted to ask if it okay to marry my girlfriend that her mother is Jewish and her father is Muslim/Arab.?
Answer:
According to the Torah, a person’s Judaism is determined by the mother, and therefore a woman whose mother is Jewish and whose father is an Arab Muslim is allowed to marry her without any prevention. Although a ‘Cohen’ cannot marry a woman whose father is not Jewish.
Therefore, if you are not a cohen but a yisrael, you may marry a woman whose mother is Jewish even though her father is Muslim / Arab.
You must know that there is a severe prohibition on having a personal life with a woman who has not been in the mikveh. Therefore, if you’re interested in marrying each other, do so as soon as possible, with joy and love, as the religion of Moses and Israel.
You should see Blessing and Success in all your ways.
