The laws of Maaser Kesafim (the Monetary Tithe)
Summary of the Tithing laws on Financial Income (Ma’asrot, Tzedakah, etc.) How much should a person donate of their profits
What are the details of the Segula (“virtue”) of the Arak of Rabbi Yitzchak Avichatzira Zatzal ?
There are two Segulot (“virtues”) associated with the 14th day of Shevat – Yom Hilula of the holy kabbalist Rabbi Yitzchak Avichatzira Zatzal (the author of the poem “A’ahufa Eshkona”, the youngest son of “Abir Ya’akov” Rabbi Ya’akov Avichatzira Zatzal. And these are:
And some add (probably as good advice, and not as part of the Segula “virtue”) to write on a sticker on the Arak intended for the above matter for the sake of a certain salvation. Of course, care must be taken to distribute only to people who bless the apostate and drink Le’Shem Shamayim, so that this will really benefit the ascension of his pure soul. And of course, together with the Segula (“virtue”), it is proper for a person to fumble with his actions, and to pray to God for the salvation he needs, and not to rely on the
virtue alone. And it is appropriate to mention in this what Ba’al Hilula, the holy Rabbi Yitzchak Avichatzira Zatzal, wrote in his book “Lev Tahor” [3]: “The person who prays needs to think of himself as a poor man knocking on the door, and since he thinks of himself as poor, then God is not weary in his prayer and his request, and this is [the interpretation of what is written in the Tehilim:] ‘Pray for the poor because he will be wrapped’ – then it would be appropriate that he ‘pour out his prayer before God’, and his prayer will be accepted.” So far his words (and it is as explained in Zohar and there is no room to extend here). That is a person should pray with the feeling that “I don’t deserve anything”, and this is a wonderful “Segulah” for receiving prayers B”H.
And may the prayers be accepted, and may all the wishes be fulfilled LeTova VeleBeracha Amen.
PLEASE NOTE*
Attention: You should not learn from one case to another, each case must be analyzed individually. Generally speaking, it's always best to have contact with a Rabbi in person, not just virtual contact. Note that where there is a local Rabbi("Mara Deatra"), one should ask him. The answers are under the responsibility of the rabbi who responded, and not under the responsibility of the website and/or the Head of the Institution.
