Thread on for asking there is a rumor priests are calling facts that the Jewish community believed in the trinity using a Christian term here I know but is this true? Thank you for your time and I appreciate your knowledge on this

Answer

Hi there, James

From your wish, it is clear that you understand alone that questions about Judaism are asked of the Jewish rabbis, not the priests. Just as questions about Christianity are asked of priests and not Jewish rabbis, well done.

In the body of your question, Judaism has no affiliation with the belief in the Trinity, and Jews have never believed in the Trinity unless they are converted Jews. Moreover, a believer in the Trinity is considered by Judaism to be a heretic to the God of Israel. The Torah is eternal, and cannot be changed or updated, so at no point has this changed, and will change in the future.

It is important for you to know that according to the Jewish Torah, G-d the Creator of the universe possesses all powers, and there is no other force independent without Him. And according to the Torah, every person in the world, Jew or Gentile, must believe in this, and whoever does not believe in the Creator of the universe is considered a sinner and a heretic to the Creator of the universe.

Regarding the question of whether non-Jews are allowed to believe in fellowship or not, there are several opinions on this in the poskim of Jewish law, and there are those who say that gentiles who believe in fellowship are not considered sinners according to Judaism, because the Torah did not command gentiles not to believe in fellowship.

Wishing you success

Attention: You should not learn from one case to another, each case must be analyzed individually. Generally speaking, it's always best to have contact with a Rabbi in person, not just virtual contact. Note that where there is a local Rabbi("Mara Deatra"), one should ask him. The answers are under the responsibility of the rabbi who responded, and not under the responsibility of the website and/or the Head of the Institution.
