When sitting shiva on a sibling does a sister observe just thru shloshim or all 11 months

:

Mourning on a sister is not 11 months, nor is it 12 months for his father and mother, but only 30 days. And after 30 days, you’re back to being allowed in everything. Only if there is no one to say “Kaddish” after her, do charity and say Kaddish on her during the year, that is, 12 months for the exaltation of her soul.

With the blessing of your comfort from heaven, you will no longer pain.

PLEASE NOTE*

Attention: You should not learn from one case to another, each case must be analyzed individually. Generally speaking, it's always best to have contact with a Rabbi in person, not just virtual contact. Note that where there is a local Rabbi("Mara Deatra"), one should ask him. The answers are under the responsibility of the rabbi who responded, and not under the responsibility of the website and/or the Head of the Institution.
