אע”ג שכתב מרן השו”ע (או”ח סימן רמ סעיף ד’) שאין להתסכל באותו מקום, והמסתכל מעביר הבושה מעל פניו ומגרה יצר הרע בנפשיה. מ”מ כל זה אינו אלא באיש המסתכל בגופה של האשה באותו מקום, אבל האשה אין לה איסור להסתכל וכן לגעת באבר המין הגברי. וזה גופא מוכח מדברי עצמו שכתב, שמגרה יצר הרע בנפשו, ובפשטות אין זה אלא באיש ולא באשה, שהרי אשה אינה מצווה על הרהור, וכמ”ש בפשיטות הברכי יוסף (יו”ד סי’ שלה), וגם לחולקים, בבעלה ודאי ליכא הרהורא. וראה גם בטור (אהע”ז סי’ כה) וברמ”א (שם סעיף ב’).
ומ”מ יזהרו שלא יבוא לידי זרע לבטלה על ידי כך, וכן יעשה הדבר בצניעות הנצרכת לכך וקודם תשמיש לצורכי המצווה ולא סתם כך שהרי אסור לאדם להביא עצמו לידיד קישוי ללא מצווה.
