Question

I am converting to Judaism and dont know which type to pick, i dont want to get circumsised but i dont really mind, i wanna do shabbat every week or at least try and only eat kosher but i dont follow every single mitzvah extremely strictly so im thinking reformed jew but its really a mix

Answer

Hello & Greetings

I don’t really understand why you should convert, the Torah does not command a non-Jew to convert, and God does not expect a non-Jew to convert.

There are seven commandments that God commands every non-Jew to keep, and if you fulfill them properly, you will do God’s will, and why should you convert.

In any case, it is important for you to know that according to the laws of the Torah, it is impossible to convert without accepting and committing to fulfill all the commandments. Therefore, there is no such reality as partial conversion. A Reform conversion is not considered a conversion at all, according to Judaism, and if you convert to such a conversion, you will remain a Gentile for all intents and purposes.
